Turns out, if you don't touch your site for a while, it turns janky. Lost and had to recreate all the articles. There are still probably some broken links somewhere, but at least you can click on a blog post and not be greeted with an error. By the way, need to bring my custom error messages back instead of the generic Apache ones.
God, I missed web-programming.
Another casualty of the calamity that the past two years have been was this site. I have brought it back, but it will take a while before everything works again.
Fixed how the site displays in portrait mode on devices with smaller resolutions. Let us all rejoice in the responsiveness!
There are website fixes and changes incoming! For one, I'm going to set up a functioning search function in two weeks based on the wonderful magic of Google Custom Search JSON API. I want results to display in the same format as ordinary entries, and other tools I've looked into don't do a very good job at this: they cling to their own style or inject ads. So it's time to dust off my JavaScript coat and work some magic.
And just in case you are wondering why I haven't fixed it before . . .
In all honesty, I simply didn't notice that search wasn't working. I intended to set the function up when I first brought my website online, but since I used the site rarely, I never tried to search anything until now.
Still sick, so I can't work as much on the site as I would like to, but I have started cleaning up this place. Should have everything necessary up and running in a few days.
First, I decided to rename the review section into the recommended section. I used to review tons of bad movies back on my old site, but now that I'm writing original fiction, I can't bring myself to crap on other people's work even when it absolutely deserves this. So now I'll only be writing about stuff that I think is worth the time.
Fixed some things under the hood too.
